He has held multiple leadership positions across premier institutions, including MS Ramaiah medical college,Sparsh Super Speciality Hospitals and BGS Global Hospitals, where he played a pivotal role in establishing and advancing stroke and epilepsy care services. He is a specialist in stroke management, epilepsy, and comprehensive neurological care, with deep expertise in both acute and chronic neurological disorders. He is also specialized in neurosonology and transcranial Doppler expertise for brain vessels. His career spans academic roles as Professor and HOD of Neurology at BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences and RajaRajeswari Medical College, as well as extensive hands-on clinical experience from residency to senior consultant roles in top hospitals across Bangalore. He has served as Primary Investigator in multiple national and international multi-center clinical trials, especially in the fields of stroke, epilepsy, and migraine, contributing to the development and evaluation of novel therapeutic interventions. These include pivotal studies such as the ATTEND, ENCHANTED, INSTRUCT, and SPRINT stroke trials, as well as ongoing trials in migraine management (EMPOWER – Novartis) and epilepsy treatment (FYCOMPA trial). He has many Publications in various National and International journals pertaining to stroke and epilepsy.
